Ali Valdez (E-RYT 500 with well over 15,000 teaching hours) has been passionate about all things yoga, philosophy and spirituality her entire life, devoting many of her studies to intellectual history, aesthetics, and comparative religious studies. Since 2000, Ali has embarked on the yoga teaching path and has developed, with the wonderful guidance of her many teachers all over the world, a system committed to bringing out the best in her students and teacher trainees. Ali has certified or created content and curriculum for several teacher training programs and has over a two hundred teachers serving the yoga community nationwide. Her devotion to her students does not end after the alignment practicum and conversations about the sutras. She is with her students every step of the way helping develop their practice, deepening their spiritual pursuits, helping them become successful yoga teachers or yoga business owners. Ali has practiced a multitude of styles, and has studied with master teachers all over the world, primarily developing her yoga sadhana in San Francisco, Singapore, New York and Seattle. She is eternally grateful for the teachers that have been formidable to helping cultivate her gifts in yoga and techniques, as well as spiritual awareness, notably John Hoge, Kathleen Hunt, Gregg Caruso, Mikhaila Stettler, Celeste Renee, Vincent Tam, Edward Clark (one of a handful of teachers that have personally studied with Edward in London and has earned his approval to teach his advanced vinyasa technique), and Andrey Lappa, with whom she completed her 500 hours in Charlotte, North Carolina and serves as one of his training assistants in the United States.
